Editorial and Medical Review Policy
Griefur publishes compassionate information for people caring for or remembering a pet. Our content supports informed conversations; it does not replace an examination, diagnosis, treatment plan, or emergency advice from a veterinarian.
Authorship
Articles are written and maintained by the Griefur Editorial Team, the organization author shown on each article. We do not claim veterinary credentials or clinical experience for the editorial team.
Sources and review
Each Care article normally cites three to five linked authoritative sources, prioritizing professional guidelines, veterinary manuals, university veterinary hospitals, and peer-reviewed research. Editors check factual claims, safety guidance, source relevance, and link integrity before marking a language version reviewed. A reviewed version with valid sources may be indexed; pending or unreviewed languages remain noindex. When a real veterinary reviewer participates, we may display the verified name, credentials, and review date, but we never invent them.
Corrections and updates
We review material concerns against the cited evidence, correct substantive errors, update sources when guidance changes, and record the latest editorial review date. Readers can report a concern by email; urgent pet-health questions should be directed to a local veterinarian or emergency clinic.
